About the role
We sell bikes that people ride for decades. The experience of choosing and buying one should feel as considered as the bike itself. You’ll be responsible for designing environments and interactions that reflect our obsession with craft and precision.
The role spans physical retail design (working with our Amsterdam flagship and future locations), digital experience design (configurator, product pages, checkout flows), and service design (how customers receive support, customisation, and servicing). It’s a rare opportunity to design across the full customer lifecycle.
What you'll do
Lead experience design for HyBikes Amsterdam flagship and future retail locations
Design and iterate on the online bike configurator and product pages
Define customer journey maps and identify experience improvement opportunities
Collaborate with engineering on in-store technology integrations
Manage relationships with retail fit-out contractors and architects
What we need
6+ years in UX, product design, or retail/spatial design
Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking across physical and digital touchpoints
Experience facilitating user research and translating insights into design decisions
Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with physical design processes
Nice to have
Experience in premium retail (luxury, automotive, or cycling)
Background in industrial or spatial design
Interest in the intersection of digital and physical customer experiences
